Women’s Ministries
Laverne Batchelor, Director
The main focus of our Women’s Ministries is to encourage all women of the church to be a Proverbs 31 woman. Our ladies committees take care of many functions within the church such as wedding/baby showers, funerals, and church socials. The Women’s Ministries hosts various events throughout the year including our annual Christmas party—a night of food, fun, and fellowship. The Women’s Ministries is also involved in various mission projects. We support the Smokey Mountain Children’s Home, Covenant Sisters Ministry, and others.
Men’s Ministries

Our Men’s Ministries is very active in the church. They host a large barbeque sale to raise money for various needs of the church. The men also have a monthly breakfast which provides a time of fellowship and devotion.
JOY Ministry (Senior Adults Age 50+)

God has blessed the Fitzgerald Church of God with a wonderful heritage. Our senior adults have so much wisdom to pass to younger generations. Our JOY Ministry provides a time of fellowship for our senior adults. JOY Ministry meets every 3rd Tuesday at noon for lunch in the Activities Building. Our meetings are filled with good eating, good fellowship, and a good time in the Lord.
